“This evening it was important to get the qualification – said the trainer of Diatec Trentino Angelo Lorenzetti at the end of the match -. It wasn’t obvious to get the qualification to the semi-finals; we have to be proud of ourselves. Today we did a better job in defence but we struggled in the service making some mistakes and this has complicated our attack. In the final part we managed to do better in defence too, getting continuity and a good concentration as I asked the day before the match.”
After winning the quarter-finals, the yellow-blue team has ten days to prepare the debut in the next round on Sunday 19th March at PalaTrento; however, in this period there is the return match of the quarter-finals of 2017 CEV Cup against Piacenza, scheduled for Wednesday 15th March at 8.30 pm at PalaTrento (match included in the season-ticket, ticket-presale active also online at http://www.vivaticket.it/ita/event/2017-cev-cup-trentino-diatec-piacenza/95166).
